Actress Ha Ji-won confirmed Saturday that her next project would be a film by acclaimed Hong Kong director John Woo.

The 37-year-old actress said during a gala dinner hosted by Media Asia Group during the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival that she would act in Woo’s upcoming movie “Manhunt.”

“It‘s like a dream come true to be involved in a project by Woo, who had all of our admiration when we were growing up,” she said. “It‘s an honor to me.”

“Manhunt” is expected to be Woo’s reinterpretation of the eponymous Japanese film released in 1976. Ha will play a female assassin in the flick.
