Actor Song Joong-ki’s agency denied rumors regarding a move by the actor to a Chinese entertainment firm in an official statement Thursday.

Earlier in the day, a news agency reported that Song Joong-ki had met with a senior official of a Chinese agency. Moreover, rumors spread that Song Joong-ki was being offered around 20 billion won to make the transfer.

However, an insider from his current agency Blossom Entertainment told a local newspaper that the news was false.

“Song Joong-ki leaving our agency will never happen,” he said. Another official from the entertainment industry added “There were no signs of Song moving away from Blossom. I don’t think it will happen.”
