Actor Jung Il-woo became the first Korean to star in a Thai drama series.

He took the role of chief public relations officer Tim who is smart and bold in the drama titled “Love and Lies.”

He left for Bangkok on Sunday to film the drama, according to an official from his management agency HB Entertainment.

The 28-year-old recently finished shooting for Korean cable channel tvN’s pre-produced drama “Cinderella and the Four Knights.”
