Broadcast date: May 28
Starring: GFriend, Twice, Bang Yong-guk of B.A.P, Jun Hyo-seong and more
Rookie girl group GFriend recently appeared on the V app while in Shanghai, China, where the band is performing on an episode of TV music program “M Countdown.”
The prerecorded show will hit airwaves on June 2, the group’s members said.
“It was the first time for GFriend to come to China,” Umji said. “So we felt kind of lost when we got here.”
“It began raining when we landed,” said Eunha.

The girls thanked fans who had sent them lunchboxes and flowers for support.
GFriend also learned some Chinese phrases so they could introduce themselves on stage.
During the broadcast, the viewers congratulated GFriend on the 500th day since its debut. The group’s members told viewers that they would probably celebrate the milestone, which falls on Sunday, in their hotel room.
It was K-pop group Twice’s Dahyun’s birthday on Saturday. The group’s members celebrated the occasion with a cake. Dahyun, who turned 18, blew out the candles on the cake and made a wish, with her hands clasped.

The members smeared cream on Dahyun’s face, but she still seemed to have fun, despite how her face was covered with cake. She apologized to her makeup artist for ruining her makeup.
Meanwhile, Bang Yong-guk of B.A.P appeared on the V app from New Zealand, where the boy band is currently on a concert tour. He went on the app for the first time by himself, saying he learned how to operate the app very recently.
