KBS 2TV has scrapped plans to extend its prime-time Monday-Tuesday series “My Lawyer, Mr. Jo.”

The channel previously put forward plans to extend “My Lawyer, Mr. Jo,” citing the drama’s popularity. However male lead Park Shin-yang refused to join filming for the extra episodes, citing a prior filming commitment for an upcoming series.

KBS 2TV tried to persuade Park, but to no avail.

The broadcaster added that the last episode of “My Lawyer, Mr. Jo” will be aired as previously planned, on Tuesday.
