Koreans are known for their love of soju, distilled rice liquor dubbed as the “national alcohol” here. Korean stars are no exception to this fondness.

Check out which male stars are some of the heaviest drinkers of this hard liquor:

Jun Jin of boy band Shinhwa revealed on broadcasts many times that he can drink 15 bottles of soju.

Ballad singer Sung Si-kyung can stomach 10 bottles of soju, according to tvN variety show “Wednesday Food Talk.”

“Gangnam Style” star Psy, who occasionally drinks soju before or during performances, shared on a talk show that he had once engaged in a drinking battle with Sung and that he had lost after drinking eight bottles of soju while Sung continued on.

Actor Zo In-sung said in an interview that he gets tipsy after two bottles of soju. He said he prefers “poktanju,” a mixture of spirits and beer.

“Descendants of the Sun” star Song Joong-ki -- who enjoys drinking with his friends Zo and Lee -- can drink around one bottle of soju and apparently wails loudly when he is drunk.

Actor-singer Im Si-wan of boy group ZE:A said he can usually drink 1 1/2 or up to two bottles of soju in a recent interview with local media.

Actor Kim Woo-bin said he can drink one to 1 1/2 bottles of soju. “My favorite (drink) is soju. I sometimes drink soju while eating alone at home,” he said on KBS2 entertainment news show “Entertainment Weekly” last year.

Actor Lee Min-ho said in a TV interview that he is not one for drinking, adding he can only down about four shots of soju.

Actor Kim Soo-hyun, who made viewers laugh with his drunk scene in the drama “Producers,” said he is actually not a heavy drinker. He said that drinking three shots of soju puts him to sleep. However, he can drink about two bottles of beer.
