The 16-episode drama series of SBS “Entertainers” will have two more episodes, the broadcaster confirmed Thursday.

“As the story of a newly formed band unfolds, we have seen growing interest from viewers,” a source from SBS told local news outlet Asia Today.

The Wednesday episode of “Entertainers,” starring actor Ji Sung and Hyeri of Girl’s Day, showed the new band, led by Ha-neul (Kang Min-hyuk) performing its debut stage in a music TV program.

However, speculations are growing as the next drama “Wanted” has withdrawn its plan to cast actor Jin Goo and actress Kim Hyun-joo in main roles. With the extension, “Wanted” is likely to premiere its first episode on June 22, a week later than the previously scheduled date.
