Actor Jin Goo scrapped his plan to appear in SBS’ upcoming drama series “Wanted,” his agency said Tuesday.

“Jin decided not to star in the series due to hefty fliming schedule,” said a staff at BH Entertainment, which represents Jin. “He will be on set filming a movie until June.”

Jin, who gained stardom after a role in KBS 2TV’s “Descendants of the Sun,” had planned to act as a highly motivated policeman in “Wanted,” while actress Kim Hyun-joo, who also decided not to join the cast, planned to play a top star whose daughter was kidnapped, until a series of reports Tuesday.

The crime series “Wanted” is scheduled to follow “Entertainers,” starring actor Ji Sung, Hyeri of Girls’ Day, Kang Min-hyuk of CNBLUE. “Wanted” will kick off airing on June 15.

Now that the main roles turned empty a month before the first episode, public concerns are rising that each scene will be taken under pressure from lack of time.

“The staff would start things from scratch.” a source familiar with the matter was quoted as saying in a Sports Daily report Tuesday.

Actor Uhm Tae-woong is the only one who confirmed a role in the series.
