Actor Song Joong-ki, the star of hit drama “Descendants of the Sun” has donated all the proceeds from starring in a Chinese variety show, local news reported Tuesday.

Last month, Song participated as a special guest in “Hurry Up Brother” by Zhejiang Television, a Chinese variety show based on Korean popular variety show “Running Man.”

Song’s episode was filmed in Korea and the “Hurry Up Brother” crews filmed across Seoul. The Korean “Running Man” members also made special appearance in the Chinese version.

The special episode of “Hurry Up Brother” will hit the airwaves in China at 9 p.m. on Friday via Zhejiang Television.
