EXO Lay was hospitalized due to food poisoning during the filming of upcoming episode of Chinese variety show “Go Fighting!” on SMG: Dragon Television on Sunday, Chinese media outlets reported.

A program insider commented that Lay fainted on his way to the bathroom during the shoot after vomiting. He was rushed to the local hospital for treatment, but was released after receiving intravenous therapy. The star returned to set afterward to wrap up filming.

SM Entertainment’s A-list boy band EXO’s members have been focusing on individual projects and are scheduled to come back as a group this summer. Lay will star opposite f(X) member Krystal in Chinese movie “Unexpected Love.”
