Actor Song Joong-ki captivated hearts at his fan meeting in Thailand, kicking off his promotional activities abroad on Saturday.

Following his fan meeting in Seoul on April 17, Song held a fan meeting in Thailand which saw around 4000 fans attending the event.

The three-hour event included many different activities and games with fans, providing them with the chance to get to know the actor better. As the event was drawing to a close, Song took the time to shake hands with fans to express his gratitude.

Fans had also flocked to the airport to sneak a peak at the “Descendants of the Sun” star. Various Thai media reported this as proof of his exploding popularity in the nation.

Song will visit other cities including Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, as part of his “2016 Asia Tour Fan Meeting.”
