Hip-hop label Brand New Music announced Wednesday that artist San E will return on May 13 with a single EP.

“San E will return to his original career path as a professional musician,” the statement read, “Despite hectic schedules of emceeing variety shows, he has prepared for the music release.”

San E, 31, has been hosting a number of variety shows including KBS 2TV’s “Battle Trip,” JTBC‘s “Hip Hop Nation” and tvN’s “Birth of a Song.”

The single will mark his return from a 5-month hiatus after release of “Do It For Fun,” single album released in December 2015.
