Broadcaster MBC’s new drama series “W” will be released on July 20, local media outlets reported Wednesday.

Starring model-turned-actor Lee Jong-suk and actress Han Hyo-joo, the drama deals with real and virtual worlds with a fantasy plot.

Lee plays a chaebol businessman Kang Chul who is an Olympic gold medalist shooter, while Han is a second-year resident chest surgeon named Oh Yeon-joo.

It is written by Song Jae-jung who wrote “Queen InHyun’s Man” (2012) and “Nine: Nine Time Travels” (2013).

It is directed by Jung Dae-yoon who worked in the drama “She Was Pretty” (2015).
