‘Uncontrollably Fond’ to simulcast in China, U.S.

The upcoming KBS TV drama “Uncontrollably Fond” will be simulcast in various countries, according to its production company, Samhwa Networks.

In an interview with a local media outlet, Samhwa announced its plans to simultaneously broadcast the TV drama in both South and North America, as well as in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

In China, the drama will air on video-streaming service Youku, while it will be broadcast in the U.S. via DramaFever. For Taiwan and Hong Kong, it will be simulcast on TV with either subtitles or dubbing.

The 20-episode series follows the story of a split couple who reunite with each other later, one as a hallyu star and the other a documentary director. The show is being penned by Lee Kyung-hee, previously of “The Innocent Man,” “A Love to Kill” and “I’m Sorry, I Love You.”
