Seungri makes Japanese silver screen debut

Boy band Big Bang’s member Seungri will be in a Japanese movie in July, according to news reports on Friday.

Seungri plays a Korean gangster’s merciless son in the Japanese flick “High & Low,” The movie is slated to open in Japan on July 16.

Seungri made his debut as a movie actor in 2009 with the local film “On the Way Home.” He also made an appearance in “19” (2009) and “Bigshow” (2011).

“High & Low” is produced by Japanese pop group Exile’s leader Hiro.
