Fashion magazine InStyle Korea’s May issue features the flip side of actress Kim Ji-won who played combat uniform-clad 1st Lt. Yoon Myung-joo in TV series “Descendants of the Sun.”

In the pictorials released through local media Friday, rising star Kim seems to enjoy the spring breeze against the backdrop of a field. One features Kim wearing dark blue one-piece skirt with while flower pattern and straw hat. Another shows Kim lying on a field while donning light-blue blouse with muffler and white pants.

Kim said in an interview with the magazine that she could be fully immersed in the drama series, as the series was preshot.

“I enjoyed the series as an ordinary viewer before small screen,” she said.

She added now is the happiest moment of her life.

The series “Descendants of the Sun” ended a record viewership mark of 38.8 percent on Thursday in Korea and China.
