On Wednesday, stills from KBS2 drama “Descendants of the Sun” were released by the drama’s production company NEW, gaving forewarnings of tragedy to come.

In the photos, actress Song Hye-kyo, who plays the female lead, Kang Mo-yeon, in the drama, has a worried expression on her face and tears in her eyes.

In last week’s episode, Kang begged actor Song Joong-ki’s character, Yoo Shi-jin not to get hurt again. Yoo assured her he would not, but the newly released stills are making fans wonder about uncertainty of Yoo’s fate.

The associates of the drama have commented, “Kang Mo-yeon’s tears reflect hardships the couple will have to face. There are only two more episodes left until the very end and viewers will experience what ‘it’s not over until it’s over’ truly means.”

“Descendants of the Sun,” airs Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. on KBS2.
