Actor Jang Geun-suk proved his acting chops through a scene in a recent episode of the drama “Daebak” that aired on Tuesday night.

In the latest episode of the SBS drama series, Jang’s character, Daegil, showed signs of change after the mysterious death of his father. While in a forest, Daegil encounters a poisonous snake. As he was feeling angry and reckless, he picked up the snake with his bare hands and proceeds to eat it.

Daegil fearlessly grips the snake’s head and starts to chomp on it. He rips its skin with his bare teeth and chews on the snake, gobbling it up.

In an interview, Jang Geun-suk said, “Amid the chaos, Daegil probably had no problems eating a poisonous snake. I thought of all the difficulties that the character had been through so far that made him into an undefeatable man.”

The SBS drama series “Daebak” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m.
