Seven-member boy band Infinite headlined the state-sponsored cultural exchange concert held in Mexico City, “K Soul in Mexico,” on Sunday local time.

Infinite performed megahits such as “Bad,” “Love Letter” and “Back” before 3,200-strong hallyu fans in Mexico, some of whom reportedly waited in line for the concert four hours before the estimated time of entrance. Its member Sungkyu remained sedentary due to leg injury.

A clip featuring Infinite members‘ choreography an hour prior to the concert riled the fans’ excitement.

Tickets for “K Soul in Mexico” sold out hours after opening for sale. Mexico is estimated to have 140,000 hallyu fans.

Infinite’s stage performance was preceded by Korean President Park Geun-hye‘s greeting remarks, B-Boy choreography, a Mexican traditional music stage, Taekwondo demonstration and the collaboration of a Korean traditional band and Mexican orchestra.

“I could see a harmony between two nations’ performances onstage,” President Park told fans. “Please keep your support to Korean culture. I will try my best to have another chance for cultural exchange.”
