“You‘re So Fine,” the lead track off Korean four-member rock band CNBLUE’s new album “Blueming,” remained short of claiming the top spot as of Monday morning.

The upbeat pop rock number, released Sunday at midnight, had taken first place on local music chart Olleh Music and second place on some other major local charts, such as Bugs, Mnet and Soribada, as of 10 a.m. on Monday.

First on the other seven of eight local charts, except Olleh Music, went to acoustic duo 10cm‘s brand new song “What the Spring??.”

CNBLUE is marking their latest effort after a seven-month hiatus. Their first activity of "Blueming" will be a stage on Mnet’s “M! Countdown” Thursday at 6 p.m.

Vocalist Jung Yong-hwa, who composed “You‘re So Fine,” hoped the album would be a breakthrough in his music career in an interview with local media on Monday.

“People still call CNBLUE ’I‘m A Loner’ band,” Jung said. “We wish to go beyond the image of ‘I’m A Loner‘ band.”

The music video of “You’re So Fine” features actress Jung Hye-sung as she intrigues all four members of CNBLUE: guitarist Lee Jong-hyun, drummer Kang Min-hyuk, bassist Lee Jung-shin and vocalist Jung.
