EXO’s Sehun confirmed his big screen debut through his agency on Monday.

Sehun will be taking on the role of the male lead in the Korean-Chinese film “I Love Catman.”

“Even if Sehun’s screen debut coincides with EXO’s next album release, he will be able to manage both his acting and music career,” said SM Entertainment.

This is Sehun’s first official debut as an actor, after his short acting stint in the web drama “EXO Next Door.”

Sehun is the sixth EXO member to pursue an acting career, following D.O., Suho, Lay, and Xiumin.

“I Love Catman” is being produced by director Park Hee-gon, who was also behind “Perfect Game” and “Insadong Scandal.” It will costar Chinese actors Song Weilong and Liu De kai. Sehun will join in the filming later in March.
