Hyun Bin, Yoona and Yoo Hae-jin’s new film to kick off

The star-studded cast made up of Hyun Bin, Yoo Hae-jin, Yoona of Girls’ Generation and Kim Joo-hyuk, among others, will start shooting their new action film “Cooperation” on March 10, said the production company JK Film on Friday.

“Cooperation” centers on North and South Korean investigators who secretly cooperate to capture a criminal gang made up of North Korean defectors.

In the film, Hyun Bin will take the role of the North Korean investigator Lim Chul-ryung, with actor Yoo Hae-jin as the South Korean counterpart.

Kim Joo-hyuk will play the leader of the criminal gang Cha Ki-sung. Meanwhile, Yoona will act as Yoo’s sister-in-law.

Actress Jang Young-nam, actor Lee Hae-young and Lee Dong-hui of “Reply 1988” are also starring in this upcoming blockbuster.

“Cooperation,” which is being directed by Kim Sung-hoon, has made headlines for its large production budget of 10 billion won ($8.3 million).
