KBS’ drama “Descendants of the Sun” recently surpassed 20 percent in viewership in Korea and it has been gaining momentum in China too.

On Friday, China’s online media company Sina Corp released a statement which said that the drama has attained over 120 million views on China’s video streaming platform iQiyi for the first four episodes.

On China’s microblogging site Weibo, the drama has reached 470 million hits and the number continues to grow.

In Korea, “Descendants of the Sun” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. on KBS2. In China, the series is available through the video streaming website iQiyi.
