Female vocal duo Davichi’s “This Love” defeated AOA rapper Jimin’s solo debut album title track, “Call You Bae,” featuring EXO’s Xiumin in Korean local charts, as of 1 p.m. Thursday.

“This Love” is on the soundtrack of KBS 2TV’s drama series, “Descendants of the Sun,” which won a viewer share of 23.4 percent in its third episode. The track is a theme song of Dae-young (Jin Goo) and Myung-joo (Kim Ji-won).

“This Love” topped six out of eight local charts: Genie, Naver Music, Mnet.com, Soribada, Bugs and Olleh Music. Exceptions were MelOn, where “Call You Bae” took the first place, and Monkey 3, where rapper Yoon Mi-rae’s “Always,” another song from the soundtrack of “Descendants of the Sun,” was top.

The main track on Jimin’s first solo album “#OOTD,” “Call You Bae,” mostly stood at the runner-up behind “This Love.” The track took the third place in Naver Music and sixth place in Monkey 3.
