Singer Lee Hi, who earned fame after finishing as runner-up in the first season of audition program “K-pop Star,” will drop a new album on March 9.

On Sunday, her label YG Entertainment released a photo of Lee and unveiled the name of the new album, “Seoulite,” which is meant to convey two meanings -- a person living in Seoul and a combination of Seoul and light.

Earlier on Saturday, the label posted a picture of the “K-pop Star” judges, Park Jin-young, You Hee-yeol and Yang Hyun-suk, holding a sign that says “Lee Hi Comeback 2016.03.09.”

Lee’s upcoming album arrives three years since her first full-length album “First Love” in March 2013. It is produced by Epik High members Tablo and Tukutz.

The 19-year-old, after appearing on “K-pop Star,” made her official debut in 2012 with hit single “1,2,3,4” as a solo singer under YG Entertainment. In 2013, she released full-length album “First Love,” which contained the songs “It’s Over” and “Rose.” In 2014, she dropped a single under the project duo Hi Suhyun with Lee Su-hyun of Akdong Musician.
