Actress Jeon Do-yeon, dubbed queen of Cannes, will play a leading role in the upcoming tvN drama series “The Good Wife,” her agency Management Soop confirmed Wednesday.

She portrays a housewife named Hye-kyeong who resumes her career as a lawyer for a living after her husband gets imprisoned due to corruption charges.

The 43-year-old actress is expected to play a wide range of emotions of a woman who is betrayed by her husband.

It is a remake version of American popular soap opera of the same name which is currently airing the seventh season.

Jeon makes a TV comeback in 11 years since her last drama “Lovers in Pargue” in 2005.

The drama will be aired at the end of June.
