Korean rookie six-member boy band ASTRO launched their debut album “Spring Up” Tuesday, after the press promotion the day earlier at 5 p.m. in Seoul.

ASTRO is poised to hold a first album showcase for fans in Seoul Children’s Grand Park located in eastern Seoul, at 7 p.m. The tickets have been sold out, according to its agency Fantagio.

The band, composed of Jinjin, MJ, Rocky, Cha Eun-woo, Yoon San-ha and Moon Bin, has gained recognition on local cable network MBC every1’s online-only drama series “To Be Continued,” aired via web portal Naver since August 2015. All the members starred in the series, alongside their agency’s actor Seo Kang-jun and actress Kim Sae-ron.

The band has also sought strong engagement with fans, by holding monthly fan meetings and making friends with 10,000 fans via social network. The sextet aired their independent reality show “OK! Ready to Go!” via Naver V App until Thursday.

The 40-second segment of ASTRO’s debut album’s title track, “Hide & Seek,” is available via Fantagio’s YouTube channel since Thursday.
