New entertainment channel JTBC2 to launch in March

South Korean cable network JTBC said Monday the firm would open a new entertainment channel JTBC2 on March 1.
The new channel targeting viewers in their 20s and 30s will mainly offer entertainment and drama content, according to the company.
JTBC has already proved its success in creating content through various programs including “Non-Summit,” “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator” and “Signal.”
Cho In-won, chief of JTBC’s entertainment division, said, “We are aiming to be younger and challenging while following JTBC’s pursuit of multifariousness,” adding, “We will also actively communicate with the young generation and digital entertainment culture (through the new JTBC2).”
