Many female celebrities spend much of their lives working out to get the perfect figure. For at least four K-pop stars, these efforts have paid off, perhaps even too well.

For instance, ever since her debut, there has been a rumor about Kara’s ex-member Goo Hara around. People say that her waist probably only measures 20 inches. This estimation was made as the celebrity often flaunted her tiny waist by wearing cropped tops during performances.

In a SBS talk show broadcast last April, Goo Hara proved that these estimations were correct. She measured her waist on air and it was 52 centimeters, which is around 20 inches.

Another celebrity who is famous for having an extra slim waist is Naeun of Apink. A well-known incident related to her is how Naeun’s stylist and staff members, who were backstage at a music program, were all worried that her tiny waist would be too small for the outfits that they had prepared.

During a photo shoot for the fashion magazine Cosmopolitan Korea, Naeun was asked about her waist size. She replied “I have to work out and do a lot of Pilates to keep it that way.”

Girl group Secret’s Hana is also a star with an amazingly slender waist. She goes on a serious diet every time the group releases a new album so as to achieve her 20-inch waist.

In an interview with a local media outlet, she said, “It takes a lot to make it that way, but it did happen. Some fans do say that they liked us better when we looked more healthy and cute.”

There is one more star who has an even more doll-like body -- AOA’s Minah whose waist measures just 17 inches. Minah measured her waist on the MBC program “Weekly Idol” and it was shown to be just 17.5 inches. Other members said at the time, “It becomes 14 inches when she doesn’t eat anything.”
