Korean girl group GFriend clinched the top spot in local music TV programs over two consecutive days with their title song “Rough.”

GFriend won the top prize in Korean cable network SBS MTV’s “The Show” on Tuesday and another cable channel MBC Music’s “Show! Champion” on Wednesday.

The girl group, which debuted in 2015, released their third mini album “Snowflake” on Jan. 25. They attracted attention with hit songs “Glass Bead” and “Me Gustas Tu” last year, executing powerful dance moves in performances, in contrast to their schoolgirl appearance and outfits.

There is a possibility that the group will go on to clinch first place at Mnet’s “M! Countdown” on Thursday. The show will be aired at 6 p.m that day.
