MBC has revealed photos from the script reading for “Goodbye Mr. Black,” offering a sneak peek into the upcoming drama.

The broadcaster officials said the photos were taken on Jan. 9, with actors Lee Jin-wook, Kim Kang-woo, actress Moon Chae-won, director Han Hee and writer Moon Hee-jung in attendance.

“Goodbye Mr. Black” is already gaining much attention before its March premiere, as it marks actress Moon’s first drama in three years. Moon plays the female lead in the drama.

The broadcaster said “Goodbye Mr. Black,” inspired by the Count of Monte Cristo, depicts the story of a man’s revenge.

Moon will portray a woman who was abandoned at a waste dump when young, and lives through hardships. Actor Lee Jin-wook will play a navy seal, who is betrayed by his best friend and plans revenge.
