Actor Seo Kang-joon may appear perfect even without any musical talents, but he is actually quite skilled at playing the piano.

Seo is currently playing a genius pianist in the drama “Cheese in the Trap.” The drama does have a few short scenes of Seo playing a tune or two, although he broke his fingers in a fight and quit music back in high school.There is a high possibility that Seo may not be faking all the piano-playing scenes.

In the SBS program “Roomate” aired in 2014, Seo had a piano competition with EXO’s Chanyeol, showing off his musical talents. He surprised the members and viewers by perfectly playing Yiruma’s “Indigo.”

As the performance went viral online, his agency, Fantagio, released a full video of him playing “Indigo,” along with another clip of him jazzing up a tune from EXO’s “Growl.”





Seo is also known to have played the piano in a couple films and dramas, especially for romantic scenes. In the drama “Cunning Single Lady,” he proposes to the lead character by playing a dreamy tune for her.

According to the media, most scenes of Inho playing the piano in “Cheese in the trap” are not made-up. Although Seo is already talented in playing piano, he is reportedly practicing long hours for a single flawless scene.

The actor recently became one of the rising stars in Korea as his acting ability adds a perfect touch to his looks. The drama “Cheese in the trap” starring Seo Kang-joon, Kim Go-eun, and Park Hae-jin, airs every Monday and Tuesday on channel tvN.
