Korean hip-hop singer Crush and Girl’s Generation’s lead singer Taeyeon’s duet song “Don’t Forget” claimed an overwhelming victory on all eight major local charts Sunday.

The duet song clinched top notch of music charts including MelOn, Genie, Naver Music, Olleh Music, Mnet.com, Soribada, Bugs and Monkey 3. For five of them -- MelOn, Mnet.com, Olleh Music, Genie and Bugs -- the winning streak continued for three consecutive days since the song’s release on Thursday noon.

The biggest obstacle for “Don’t forget” was Lee Seung-gi’s single “I am Leaving for the Army,” released after he claimed he will join the military on Feb. 1. On Saturday, the so-called “enlistment song” managed to maintain top rank on music chart Monkey 3, while other seven local charts’ top gave way to the 23-year-old Crush’s single featuring songstress Taeyeon.
