Actor Park Bo-gum shed tears at his first fan meeting and soon after the event a video of him crying was uploaded online, then went viral.

Park Bo-gum‘s fan meeting was set on the day the last episode of “Reply 1988” aired. The day was also special for him as it was his first fan meeting ever, and the TV drama that made him a rising star had come to an end.

According to local media outlets, Park Bo-gum sang for his fans and talked about things that he had wanted to share. He tried to meet everyone’s eyes and communicate with them one by one.

Toward the end of his fan meeting, Park started crying as he commented, “I‘m so sorry to not be able to hold every one of your hands. I don’t even know if I deserve such love and attention.” His fans wept along with him, as he could no longer contain his tears.

Fans expressed their shock after seeing photos and videos of him crying through Facebook and on Twitter. Some remarks included, “I can really feel how much he loves his fans” and, “He is so sweet and soft-hearted.”
