Actor Jung Woo will tie the knot with actress Kim Yoo-mi on Saturday in Seoul, Jung’s agency FNC Entertainment said Wednesday.

Jung first announced the news via Twitter, posting a handwritten letter to fans saying he will marry his actress girlfriend of three years.

“I am forming a happy family with her, which has been my dream and hope,” said Jung. ”I am sorry I am not telling this news in person, but please send blessings for the beginning of my new journey,” he said, also thanking fans for their support.

The agency issued an official statement confirming the news and added that the wedding would be a simple and closed ceremony.

The two first met while starring in film “Red Family” together in 2012 and confirmed they were dating in 2013.

Jung, 35, debuted in 2006 and appeared in a number of films before rising to stardom through popular TV drama “Reply 1994” in 2013. Since then, he has appeared in films “C’est Si Bon” and “Himalaya,” enjoying his newfound popularity.

Kim, 36, has appeared in many TV dramas and films, including “SWAT Police,” “Can We Love” and “Phone.”
