2015 MBC Drama Awards roundup

The annual year-end MBC Drama Awards were held Wednesday in Seoul, bringing together Korea’s top celebrities.
Jisung from “Kill Me, Heal Me” nabbed the top spot, winning the grand prize at the event. The star gained huge popularity across Asia after appearing in the TV drama as the male lead, Cha Do-hyun, a billionaire heir who suffers from multiple personality disorder following a traumatic incident in his childhood. The series also won the best drama award.
The best actor awards went to Song Chang-ui, Jung Jin-young and Jisung, whereas Kim Jeong-eun, Jeon In-hwa, Hwang Jung-eum won the best actress awards, through “Make a Woman Cry,” “4 Legendary Witches” and “Kill Me, Heal Me,” respectively.
Kang So-ra and Park Seo-joon were awarded excellence awards as well.
The “Best Couple” award was surprisingly given to Jisung and Park Seo-joon for “Kill Me, Heal Me,” for Ji Sung’s teenage personality in the drama, Ahn Yo-na and Park Seo-joon’s character Oh Ri-ohn made a hilarious pair in the series.
Lee Sung-kyung, Lee Yoo-bi, Yoon Hyun-min, Park Ha-na and Kang Eun-tak won best rookie awards.
