Hallyu star Jung Yong-hwa uploaded a selfie Friday captioned “Shanghai” on Instagram, alerting the media once again of his attendance at Elle Style Awards to be held in the Chinese city on Dec. 18 and 19.

Jung is the only Korean star invited to the event.

A member of the quartet boy band CNBLUE, Jung enjoys massive popularity in China and frequently appears on local entertainment TV shows.

In the upcoming fashion event, Jung has hinted at staging a romantic performance with a Chinese starlet.

Over 50 top Chinese stars are expected to attend the event, including Li Bingbing, Yang Mi, Liu Wen and Hu Ge.
