KBS, the state-run terrestrial broadcasting company, confirmed Friday that TV personality Lee Hwi-jae, EXID‘s Hani and 2PM’s Taecyeon will host the upcoming year-end KBS‘ Song Festival.

Lee and Taecyeon also hosted the event last year, while Hani is taking to the stage for the first time.

Lee has shot to stardom with the image of a friendly yet thoughtful father for his lovable twin sons in KBS’ child-rearing show “Superman Is Back.” His peculiar wit and banter are expected to enrich the festival.

Versatile entertainer Taecyeon, who has been acknowledged in a variety of fields including TV drama, music and entertainment programs, is planning to show wonderful chemistry with the other hosts.

In order to increase the liveliness of the festival, Hani from girl group EXID will be the female hostess, having gone viral due to her provocative yet cute appearance and candid personality.

Hani was in the center of EXID’s sudden hit “Up&Down,” last year with her overwhelming sexy dance moves and looks, boosting the unknown group above the fray of the throngs of K-pop groups.

“As the three emcees will vitalize the festival, it will be a suitable show to gather with family and watch it together. Hope you look forward to it,” said an official from KBS.

2015 KBS Song Festival will take place at Gocheok Sky Dome on Dec. 30 and will be broadcast real-time via KBS from 7:50 p.m.
