Ha Jung-woo graces cover of W Korea

Actor Ha Jung-woo graced the cover of magazine W Korea for its January edition.

The photos were taken on the Hawaiian island Oahu, where he flew for a break after finishing the filming of his upcoming movie “The Handmaid,” produced by top director Park Chan-wook.

When asked why he chose the new movie during an interview, Ha said, ”First of all, I liked the character ‘count.’ I didn’t hesitate much because of the role.”

“Of course, I also wanted to experience director Park’s world,” he added. Park is a well-known for his megahit movies “Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance” and “Oldboy.”

“When I work with a new director, I tend to reveal more of myself for him to utilize me better,” the actor said, adding, “I also try to listen to what they think to better figure out their intention.”

The fashion spreads including his full interview and photos can be seen in the magazine‘s January issue, slated for release on Dec. 20.

The upcoming movie “The Handmaid” will hit theaters sometime in 2016.
