According to the court, Park and his agency Didim 531 signed a deal with an entertainment firm in 2012 to shoot for a music video and pictorials, but didn’t carry through on the contract.

The judge ruled Friday that the defendants should compensate the plaintiff for the loss.

The court said, “Park and his agency rejected the demand for shooting for the music video and pictorials in 2012 and the following year, the plaintiff was not able to push ahead as Park was under investigation for alleged rape.”

The 37-year-old made his name after starring in the TV drama “Cheongdam-dong Alice” in 2012, but his career was rocked by allegations of sexual assault, although the charges were later dropped.
