Yoon Doo-joon from K-pop boy band Beast is set to make a small screen comeback in the upcoming MBC drama “Pongdang Pongdang LOVE” to be aired both on TV and online after a six-month hiatus, according to a local news report Wednesday.

In the production clip released by iMBC, Yoon delivered the message to his fans.

Yoon said, “I play the character of King Sejong who falls in passionate love. I keep wondering what would have happened back then while filming the drama,” adding, “Sometimes, there are some difficulties acting in the historical drama since I am not used to it but with the help from the staff, I am doing just fine.”

“Pongdang Pongdang LOVE” is about a high school student, played by actress Kim Seul-gie, who suddenly travels back in time to Joseon Dynasty where she meets King Sejong (Yoon Doo-joon) to develop a romantic relationship transcending time and space.

The first episode of the drama will be released initially on Naver on Thursday and will hit the airwaves on Dec. 13 at 12:05 p.m. on MBC.
