Since the V app kicked off in August, the real-time broadcasting app has gained momentum here and abroad, allowing fans to watch their favorite stars go live and interact with them.

Four months down the road, the app now boasts a lineup of some of the hottest K-pop singers, actors, models and beauty bloggers participating in broadcasts.

As of Wednesday, there are 99 active channels on the app, which originally started with some 20 K-pop acts.

Among an array of channels, who are the most popular stars on the app?

There are three channels that have more than 1 million followers: Big Bang, SM Town and BTS.

Five-member Big Bang has the most followers on the app with 1.73 million fans, proving its popularity both at home and abroad.

Big Bang (Official Facebook Page)
Next on the list is SM Town -- singers under the mega showbiz agency SM Entertainment, which includes Girls’ Generation, SHINee, EXO, Super Junior and BoA. The channel has 1.53 million followers.

BTS (Big Hit Entertainment)
K-pop boy band BTS ranked third on the list with 1.42 million fans, establishing them as one of the fastest rising rookie groups in the industry. BTS members have been among the most active stars on the app.

GOT7 (YG Entertainment)
GOT7 has 976,711 followers on the app, while rookie iKON has attracted 951,718 fans.

iKON (YG Entertainment)
Girl group Apink ranked six on the chart with 925,856 fans, the only girl group to be ranked in the top 10.

Apink (A Cube Entertainment)
A second mega agency, YG Entertainment -- home to Big Bang, 2NE1, Psy, WINNER and iKON -- garnered 912,600 fans.

EXO (SM Entertainment)
EXO has 900,249 fans, which is a grand feat considering its late arrival to the V app in November.

Infinite (Woollim Entertainment)
INFINITE ranked ninth with 769,104 fans, followed by WINNER with 759,760 fans.

Winner (YG Entertainment)
