The new JTBC dog-rearing program “Mari and I” is already gaining momentum before its actual broadcast.

A special pre-show of “Mari and I,” which went live on the V app on Monday, saw more than 100,000 viewers, JTBC said Tuesday.

On the live broadcast, the show’s members Shim Hyung-tak, Eun Ji-won, Seo In-guk, iKON’s B.I and Jinhwan introduced the show and shared their experiences with the animals. They also sang songs for the animals.

“Mari and I” centers on celebrities taking care of dogs on behalf of the actual owners, who cannot look after them due to circumstances. A total of eight members -- Kang Ho-dong, Lee Jae-hoon, Kim Min-jae, Shim Hyung-tak, Eun Ji-won, Seo In-guk, iKON’s B.I and Jinhwan -- will appear on the show.

Thanks to the popularity of the pre-show, the broadcaster JTBC is planning to do another V broadcast before the program hits the airwaves on Dec. 16.

“Mari and I” will air every Wednesday at 10:50 p.m. starting on Dec. 16.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
