During the episode former regular member Robin Deiana, from France, appeared as a guest to share his feelings. Professor Jin Joong-kwon also made a guest appearance.

Robin said, “Although my family had no victims, my friend’s nephew saw a terrorist,” adding, “He repeated the word ‘gun’ for a few days in shock.”

When asked about the current situation in Paris, he said: “France is now under a state of national emergency. The streets, supposed to be full of excitement ahead of Christmas, have a very heavy atmosphere.”

As for ways to prevent terror, professor Jin said, “Frankly, there is no way to prevent terrorism. A long-term concern is the spread of Islamophobia -- dislike of or prejudice against Islam and Muslims.” He added, “That is what terrorists want, in a bid to make all the Muslims side with them.”

“Non-Summit” airs every Monday at 10:50 p.m.
