Hallyu star Lee Min-ho won the Most Popular Actor Award at 36th Blue Dragon Film Awards on Thursday, along with Park Bo-young, Seolhyun and Park Seo-joon.

Lee, who was also nominated for Best New Actor, was humble in his acceptance. Although he did not win in the other category, he congratulated teh winner, saying, “I would like to first of all congratulate Choi Woo-sik who won the Best New Actor award.”

“It’s a great honor to be able to stand before Korea’s best actors and actresses tonight,” said Lee, extending his gratitude to his fans and fellow actors who attended the Thursday night’s event.

“You’re so handsome and some say your performance tends to be veiled due to your good looks,” said host Kim Hye-soo, asking Lee if he had any secrets to conquering such preconceptions.

Lee’s answer was a simple “no.” He said he still needed to work on his acting, adding that he was just trying hard to perform better.
