Clara to return to small screen in China

Clara, who was mired in a lawsuit with her former agency, has landed a leading a role in a Chinese drama, according to local media outlets.

The 30-year-old is reportedly set to join the production team in a few days to play a charming rich lady.

On Tuesday, the 30-year-old actress posted a selfie of herself beaming on her Instagram account. She left a comment, saying: “How are you? I am doing well with my family after (the case) was settled in September.”

“Things worked out well because of my fans’ support and I want to meet you soon,” she added.

In December of last year, the actress was mired in a controversy after she sued her former agency, claiming she was sexually harassed by its president. The legal battled sparked as the agency denied the allegations and countered that Clara had been blackmailing the agency.

The dispute ended in September when the actress dropped her suit.
