‘Fatal Intuition’ draws most people over weekend

Monday’s tally by the Korean Film Council showed the film attracted 456,209 moviegoers between Oct. 30 and Nov. 1, pushing up its cumulative audience number to 628,173 and leading the box office for five consecutive days since its Oct. 28 release.
Inspired by a true story, “Fatal Intuition” portrays a brother chasing the mysterious murderer of his only sister. Joo Won plays the part of the brother, while Yoo Hae-jin plays a suspicious pharmacist.
In the same weekend, thriller “The Phone” came in second with 355,140 viewers, chased by Hollywood science-fiction flick “The Martian” with 330,080.
