Twice members hold special sketchbook event

Rookie girl group Twice held a special event with members introducing themselves with flips of sketchbooks.
The members introduced their names, the day they became JYP trainees, hometowns, their roles in the team, charms and why fans should join their fandom.

Jihyo, the group’s lead vocalist who made her debut in 2005, was the first one up. The singer from Guri, Gyeonggi Province, defined herself as a “microphone and tears,” referring to when she shed tears while shooting the audition program through which the members were selected. She added she would use her talent and endless charms to attract fans.

Nayeon, known for her heart-shape cute lips, introduced herself as a big sister and “positive energy,” saying she would make hearts swoon through her lovely lips.

The group’s Japanese member Momo joined the company in 2012. The singer, who is also known for her powerful dance moves, asked fans for continuous support and love for the group.

Jeongyeon from Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, said her role in the group is “being the least funny person” and a cleaner. She added she would attract fans through her chic and feminine charms.

Another Japanese member in the group, Mina, also made a fresh resolution, saying she would try hard to make fans happy.

“Cute and sexy” Sana and Chaeyoung also joined in, saying they would put the best effort to meet the heightened anticipation among fans.

Dahyun, whose “eagle dance” went viral even before she became a trainee in 2012, said she would whoop it up with her bubbly charms.

The team’s Taiwanese member Tzuyu also pledged to work hard.
The group released its debut album titled “The Story Begins,” which has already garnered a lot of popularity. The lead track “Like Ooh-Ahh” mixed different music genres including hip-hop, R&B and rock.
