Actor Lee Min-ho is the biggest draw on Dramafever, the New-York based video-streaming website, according to its social director in a recent interview with a local media outlet.

Dramafever is an online video distributer of dramas and films -- around 70 percent of them are Korean dramas -- garnering over 20 million monthly visitors. Around 65 percent of them are non-Asian viewers.

“American dramas tend to be dark and violent. But, for Korean soaps, although the scale is not huge, their plots are strong and soft,” Daniel Actor, director of social media at DramaFever, was quoted in a recent interview with Yonhap news agency.

He said actor Lee Min-ho is the most popular on the website with all his dramas including “Boys Over Flowers,” “Personal Taste City,” “Hunter Faith,” and “The Heirs” being hits.

“The Heirs,” which began to stream in 2013, generated $1 million in sales within six months since the service began.

“I personally like actor Lee Ki-woo but Lee Min-ho and Kim Woo-bin are the most-sought after actors on the website,” he said, laughing.
