Actor Park Seo-joon discussed his character Ji Seong-joon on MBC’s rom-com “She Was Pretty” during a personal talk show on V on Wednesday.

Unlike the fictitious persona Seong-joon, who has an irritable personality, Park said he’s very shy.

“Many fans ask me why my character cannot recognize his childhood sweetheart Hye-jin. People, it’s because it’s a drama,” Park said with a laugh.

“This is a 16-episode show. We have to somewhat drag it on,” Park said, “But soon, Seong-joon will put two and two together.”

Park said his and costar Hwang Jeong-eum’s performance scores a 120 out of 100, because they previously worked together on the drama “Kill Me, Heal Me.”

Park’s ideal woman always changes, he said, but a common interest and an ability to hold a good conversation is essential. He also pointed out pretty hands and charming smiles are what attracts him to a girl.

Park said he is 185.6 cm tall and enjoys relaxing, going to the gym and meeting up with friends in his free time.

As to how the drama is being produced, he said the show almost like a life. He said he had been shooting the eighth episode until the early morning on Wednesday.

“She Was Pretty” will air its eighth episode on Thursday at 10 p.m. on channel MBC.

The show stars celebrities Choi Si-won, Ko Joon-hee, Hwang Jeong-eum and Park Seo-joon as lead actors.
